Hankook Tire celebrates 10 years as an exclusive supplier of high-performance tires to the BMW Driving Center

Seoul, Korea, March 20, 2024 – Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) is celebrating 10 consecutive years as the exclusive supplier of high-performance tires for test-drive vehicles at the BMW Driving Center operated by German premium car maker BMW Group Korea.
Since the opening of the BMW Driving Center in 2014, Hankook Tire has supplied tires to all test-driving vehicles on the track and driving programs proving its global top-tier tire technology and premium brand value. Vehicles on display at the BMW Driving Center’s showroom will also be equipped with Hankook Tire starting this year, further demonstrating the industry-leading technology to the visitors.
Tires supplied to the BMW Driving Center include the iON evo AS SUV from the world’s first full line-up of electric vehicle tire brand iON, Ventus S1 evo3 and Ventus S1 evo3 SUV from the flagship brand Ventus Premium Sports, a racing tire optimized for circuit driving Ventus RS3, a premium sports tire Ventus V12 evo2, and Winter i*cept evo3 X specially designed for SUV from the Winter i*cept premium line-up.
Starting with a compact car brand MINI in 2011, Hankook Tire has supplied original equipment tires (OETs) for many popular BMW models. The strong partnership has continued through the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 series; SUV models X1, X3, X5; and now the flagship New 7 Series.
The two companies took the partnership a step further in 2021 when Hankook Tire began providing OETs for BMW’s high-performance brand M’s models - X3 M and X4 M. In 2022, Hankook Tire expanded its portfolio to include the i4, BMW’s first all-electric Gran Coupe, proving its world-leading tire technology.
This year, Hankook Tire’s state-of-the-art high-performance tire technology is set to enhance the dynamic driving experience of BMW’s high-performance vehicles and bring pleasure to visitors at the BMW Driving Center.
